**Rorg - Terms of Use**

Effective Date: April 6, 2025

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rorg software application ("Rorg" or the "Software") created and owned by Ryan Schubert ("Developer"). By using Rorg, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

**1. License & Access**

Use of Rorg is granted only under the terms of a proprietary license agreement. Rorg is not free software and may not be used, distributed, or modified without express permission from the Developer.

**2. Intended Use**

Rorg is designed for file integrity validation and hash-based reputation checking. Use is intended for personal or internal business purposes only. Use of Rorg for malicious, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes is strictly prohibited.

**3. VirusTotal Integration**

Rorg optionally connects to VirusTotal, a third-party malware analysis platform. Users must supply their own API key and agree to VirusTotal's Terms of Service. The Developer is not responsible for any results, limits, or inaccuracies provided by VirusTotal.

**4. Updates & Changes**

The Developer may release software updates or changes at any time. Use of future versions may be subject to additional terms. Rorg may include functionality to check for updates, but this does not guarantee delivery or continued compatibility.

**5. User Responsibilities**

You are solely responsible for how you use Rorg. This includes scanning appropriate files, complying with legal obligations, and managing your API keys.

**6. Intellectual Property**

All code, branding, design, and related assets of Rorg are the intellectual property of Ryan Schubert. You may not copy, alter, or use any part of Rorg's brand identity without written consent.

**7. No Warranty**

Rorg is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. The Developer disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

**File Safety Disclaimer:** The detection or non-detection of file tampering or malware by Rorg is not a guarantee of the file's actual safety or threat status. You are solely responsible for verifying any findings and making informed security decisions.

**8. Limitation of Liability**

The Developer shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use of Rorg, including but not limited to data loss, corruption, or malware infections.

**9. Termination**

Failure to comply with these Terms may result in termination of your license and access to the Software.
